I agree. I started with a Trophy Taker and switched to a Rip Cord and have no regrets at all. I love that I can lock it in the up position, and the rest is captured, so while sitting in the woods, no worries of the arrow not being ready.
I have really liked my NAP Apache, just so long as you replace the stock felt with moleskin or something like that.
I set the rest to the nocking point on the bow and it was off the riser is that not right? im not sure ive never looked into it
That is right, I thought you were saying that you just move the rest up until you didn't have contact and tuned your bow to that. If you went from the nocking point you should be good.
yea i fine tuned my monster cause i wana be able to shoot long yardage...like to mess around and have fun with it lol me and my freind have competitions
I've always been a huge Bodoodle fan, and I finally switched to a drop away this past spring. Got a Ripcord Code Red, and I can't believe how much I like it! I think it's almost the perfect rest, but that's just my opinion. One thing I'd change is Id like it to be micro adjustable. Shot my buddies trophy taker for a few days before I bought mine, and I didn't mind it, but I didn't like how un-precise the launcher seemed.
I just love the fact that you can lock it in place fo hunting it works good...wish the arrow didnt bounce around as much tho
I don't have one yet but will be ordering one for my new bow. I'll have a review for you in a couple months. So far anyone I've seen who uses one loves it. Limbdriver is coming out with a new rest that looks like a full containment one. It could be interesting.
