Seether by themselves are just plain, saw them in concert and wasn't too impressed... Amy Lee is just insane, maybe the best female vocalist of all time.... together they sound amazing. As far as chicks who are into hard rock.... Flyleaf is pretty damn good, that girl has some pipes on her.
Dude, Amy Lee's eyes (contacts or not) are just simply hot.... I have a soft spot for that goth/punk look :d
Maybe its just me, but she doesn't do anything for me. Not a bad song, but I enjoy Seether more than Evanescance. Although you're right, they're only a so-so bad. They have a few songs that get stuck in my head though. The greatest duet of all time is Don Henley and Stevie Nicks - Leather and Lace. :D
Does anyone remember when she did that unplugged song with Korn? I hated that cd. It was like someone castrated the band or something.
JZ, I know you just got married and all, but that's not a cover for a more serious..........."preference", is it? :d You don't like shinedown (though they aren't my fav, and I certainly see your point) and amy lee doesn't do anything......I just dunno about you man...... Maybe you need a ?
you're all wrong... here's the best "duet" ever... Stevie Ray Vaughn and Jimmie Vaughn playing the same guitar at the same time... Family Style!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iSjRggiSBrU
Whiskey Lullaby - Brad Paisley & Allison Krauss http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dYub1neLZmA Greatest ever
I like Seether and I wouldn't kick Amy out of bed but not the best. I like blondes so Lita has my vote. JZ with Stevie I can't get past what she looks like now. It looks like she ate a small town.
I like Will Ferrell and Dave Grohl doing Leather and Lace better.:d http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OlLzAWUY6Xo
I'm at work so I can't see any of the links... even though I still know most of the songs y'all are talking about. But I will go to bat for my girl Amy Lee. She is far and away my favorite female vocal. Her sound is beautifully unique. And she's hot. Plain & simple. Saw her in concert once, wish thier set was about 3x longer than it was.
I've seen Seether in concert too and they were only so-so. They played with Three Days Grace and Breaking Benjamin and I'd say both of them were more impressive that Seether. If you haven't seen Three Days Grace in concert I'd recommend them because they put on a hell of a show. I've seen them one other time with Staind and it was a good concert too.
