I use code blue, I hear tinks 69 is another great one. What do you use?

 

i have had good luck with tinks 69 past years, and good luck this year with bob kirschners urine.

Never had any luck with any of em.. not saying they dont work just never had any luck personally

 

So...just how do you get Bob Kirschner's urine; and does he know you're using it to hunt deer? :D Just kidding! I got some last year from a friend who raises deer. He got it fresh the morning I bought it and the biggest deer of my life got a whiff of it 70 yards out. He came on a string and then freaked out when he got just into bow range. Don't know what that was all about but it sure was disappointing. Didn't use any this year.

 

If I use urine it's almost always gonna be the frozen kind that is collected and instantly frozen. I typically will thaw it in warm water before hunt or scrape creation.

 

Ive had good luck with Buck Fever Synthetic scents in scrapes, other than that I quit wasting my money.

 

I wasted a lot of money as well....then I tried jackies deer lures. I have to say....it really worked for once. The guy owns a deer farm in Ohio. Its fresh and 100% real.

I use natural. They put up quite a fight when you first lasso them, but once they wear themselves out they tend to cooperate better

And the extraction process can get tricky unless you give em a case of beer. :D

 

I prefer tinks power scrape in my mock sites, and code blue when using a scent drag or wafer. Does it make a difference? who knows...I've killed some decent deer in the past 2 years tho. Whether it was on account of a luring scent, or just good old fashioned scouting and recon, I'd like to think it was the latter.

 

Last one I used was Still Steamin, by Scent Shield. That stuff stunk something fierce but had a buck that day.

Another place I like to order stuff from is Smokey's Deer Lure. They have urine, pre orbital gland scent, interdigital gland scent and a few other things that you don't find at a lot of the deer scent/lure sites.

i use buckzone scents have had great success with it 100% urine. they also have a new product for next season doe estrous gel dripper.
