    best being most tonnage?
    most palatable?
one you consistently shoot large deer in?

How i measure a food plots success is the seeds ability to maximize sward density/nutrients per acre to grow the biggest and healthiest deer i can grow.

Honestly, cowpeas are hard to beat for a summer plot...deer will run over you to get to them. I mix cowpeas in with milo for grain production and it works great.
