I have killed more than 30 hogs in Texas using zwicky Eskimo 2 blade 125 grain with my .
recurve or. Magnus screw in 125 grain with my compound
Also killed a few with thunderheads but did not always get a pass through
Almost always got pass throughs with the 2 blades.

What setup will you be using? If your bow has a decent amount of kinetic energy the Rages will work fine just dont crowd the shoulder to be safe. I have taken hogs with Spitfires, Rage, Grim Reapers and Killzone broadheads as well as many fixed blades. Take broadside shots into the vitals and everything will be just fine.

I have seen expandables bounce off of hogs. But the person didn't have the kinetic energy to shoot expendables to begin with. It was a 45 # draw weight at 24" draw length and a light arrow.

I have never hunted hogs, but I know they are kinda tough, I would choose a muzzy with a chisel tip if I were hunting hogs, but like I said I never hunted them before, but I know how tough the muzzy heads can be.

I've killed a half dozen with 125 gr. muzzy 3 blade heads. (and low ke) Shoot them low and tight to the elbow and they're down in seconds.

I used G5 montecs on a boar hunt I went on and they worked great.
