I have had a bow for about 4 years and I am finally going to go to Newyork and shoot a whitetail with it. I was wondering what the best broadhead for the job would be. I also was wondering what the best one for moose would be. I live in Alaska and Bowhunting season just opened up. Is 100 grains too light for moose?

More info would be helpful.......Draw weight, draw length, arrow weight......

But without knowing any of that, I would immediately say a good, fixed blade cut on contact such as the G5 Montec, Slick Trick or Magnus Stinger.

    What he said.

    To add,

100 grain heads will do the job on all North American big game animals including moose, grizzly, polar bear the likes depending on the arrow and the bow they come from.

More information as mobow asked would be helpful.

well its set at 50 lbs but im moving it up to 60 lbs for the deer and moose. It was only at 50 lbs for grouse and rabbit. Draw length is 27inches. Im not sure on the arrow weight but I can tell you that they are the Goldtip XT Hunter Carbon Arrow.
