Nothing. Be as scent free as possible is my best advice.

A hot doe works wonders as well.

If you ever experience a hot doe near your stand, it will make it clear that any artificial scent that claims to be doe in heat it not the same. I will no longer use doe in heat scent as I have for years and never had bucks act like they have on a couple of occasions when there was a "real" hot doe by me. It has never been so clear that there is no substitution for the real thing. PERIOD! It may draw curiousity but I have never heard deer going crazy over a scent wick. Anyone here experience that with a scent wick? All out bonanza of running chasing, grunting looking for a doe when it is your wick they smell?

I agree that nothing is better than a hot doe... but a buddy of mine been using Tinks 69 the wafers and says that bucks come into that all the time...

i have had luck with Code Blue Standing Estrus, I have used it as a drag rag, and the deer literally follow where ever i went with there nose to the ground.

I agree with the code blue. It is the only thing i have ever used that worked on a buck that was all worked up running down a trail. I did a scent drag from the deer path to a mock scrap I made on the edge of a field just outside of the woodline. He followed the drag straight to the scrape, worked it over, and then was back on his way with nose to the ground....
