Best Attractant for a one day hunt - early season

    Going to hunt out of state next weekend...because I can. I have tree stands set up. Any recommendations for an early season sit? Wondering about an apple, cherry, or vanilla scented grain bag or something. I've never tried the stuff. What have you had good luck with?

    Acorns or travel. I doubt any food attractant is going to be great for 1 day. But if your where they already want to be?

    Anise oil and vanilla on a lamp wick. It just makes them curious so they will check it out.

    I agree hunt them where they already are, maybe put out an attractant there. But it will take them more than one day to find scent or at least the better part of the day. Goodluck

    Evercalm, wont attract them but will cover your stink. Its a long shot trying to attract deer with food for one day. Any food attractant usually takes several days for the deer to become comfortable coming into during daylight. Good luck on your hunt.
