Just a quick opinion based gear question. What is everyones absolute favorite arrows and arrow rest to use? Need to reup on some equipment so I am just trying to get a little feedback before I purchase anything.

I've only used Gold Tip XT Hunter arrows and a QAD Ultra rest. Only my 2nd year archery hunting but I haven't had a reason to try anything else.

I currently use a QAD HDX but I have also had a Limbdriver Pro V which I liked alot and a Ripcord Code Red
    All great rests IMO
If I get another one it would probably be the ripcord ACE

Arrows: I have used Victory VAPs for past two years, and now just made the switch to Black Eagle Rampages with their Stainless bone crusher insert.
I got sick of dealing with VAP insert/outsert systems, but their was no doubt those VAPs penetrate a target more than any other arrow I've had.
I think the Black Eagle Rampages will do just fine on deer though. I like the Black Eagle Rampages because they give me the best combination of GPI, FOC, toughness and arrow diameter for wind and penetration.

I have been bowhunting since 1975. I must have more than a dozen rests in a drawer. On my 2 hunting bows: NAP Carbon Apache and a WB. I will never have another QAD on my bow, 3 junk is enough. I have at least 10 different model arrows. Depending on what you want in an arrow you can go wrong with Axis, FMJ, (heavy=hard hitting) ACC (he best arrow ever made) or GT Velocity Pro (lighter shaft that you can put a lot of weight up front for higher FOC).

This fall Axis 300 with 50gr insert and GT VPro with 82gr insert.
