Looking for recommendations on an arm & fluid head for cams XH A1S and smaller. Please make your recommendation based on price, performance, and weight......best bang for my buck! Thanks in advance!
I'm using the Lone Wolf camera arm, a Manfrotto 701 HDV fluid head, and a Canon XA10 camera. This set up works great for the small XA10 camera, and probably midsized cameras. It's nice and compact, when hauling it all out in the woods. This fluid head cost slightly more than the arm, but its probably the most important. I think when you do a cost comparison with other like products, you'll find that this combination will be more cost friendly, and well, it works great for me, who also is on a budget. The only thing I would advise is to buy at least one extension for the arm if not 2. I have 2 extensions on my Lone Wolf arm, to be able to get the camera around me if I have to try to film behind me, while self-filming. I hope this helps, and good luck with your search!
