I believe it works. I haven't tried many other products to compare it to but the form factor it comes in is great for apply to your boots and on trees. I use it similar to the other posts above.

Vabowman- what was the rationale for outlawing the product?

VA outlawed any products that are not synthetic...so no real urine or real buck bomb....they said they feared the spread of CWD

Unless I am mistaken, that product (the deodorant style) is synthetic. It's not liquid or spray and is man made. Maybe I'm wrong, but when I was using the stuff, that's how it came.

yeh I watched a whole show on it...they actual herd them into a wash area and spray them down and then collect the liquid and make it into a gel

That was going to be my go to stuff if RI bans real urine. Guess I need to rethink that issue if it happens.

Just picked up 3 forms of evercalm. Interesting to hear how they make it. Cabelas had a big selection of it which makes me believe it is popular.

I also sold a random person on it based on this thread alone. Hope it works for him. He said I should work there. My wife has said the same thing. I guess I’ll stick to Insurance sales.

I have used it the past two evening hunts and both times I was stuck in my tree for 30 min past shooting light waiting for deer to leave. At one point I resorted to throwing tree bark at them and they still wouldn't leave. Crazy how well it works.

I’ve had deer bed down right next to the tree I rubbed it on. Wish I kept that trail cam pic to show. It’s safe to throw out around the stand, but what we don’t know is if it might chase mature bucks away...
