Man, I don't know that I've ever used a scent that worked as consistently as Evercalm. I'm really starting to love this stuff. I tried it out as just a new thing two years ago and quickly discovered that it works incredibly well most of the time. It's by no means a miracle scent, but when I've put in the time scouting and I know where the deer are, this stuff has very rarely (and I mean rarely) failed to pull them in.

Have you guys had good experience with it, as well? Are there other products that seem revolutionary on the market today that hunters seem to be under-utilizing?

Made by Conquest Scents. It's like a stick of deodorant.

Rub it on trees, your boots, or anything that'll get the scent out there. Supposed to smell like a bedding area.

I put it in my boots last year and the buck I shot followed my footsteps to where I shot it nose to the ground. I was impressed. Also have had deer ignore it, but I have no doubt it helped with one hunt. I'll use it again this year have plenty left

I cover my boots in it when I walk in. Deer walk right over where I stepped and don't smell me. On multiple occasions I have had deer nose to the ground follow my path right to my tree.

This will be my 3rd season using it. If i'm in an area that I know the deer are. I'll put a little on the bottom of my boots when i'm about 40-50 yards from my stand when walking in and then maybe swipe on a tree that is about 15-20 yards from my tree. It really does work and takes some of the edge off deer when they come within range and get close. You essentially become one of the deer.

Mock scrapes, I have found that this stuff really works well with mock scrapes. Rub it on the tree that has the licking branch and on the bottom of your boots when you create the scrape as well.

Easy way to put it, Instead of you leaving a little scent, you become one of the deer when you use this stuff.

**Try not to put it on your tree that has your stand in it. I've found that you will get deer too close and sometimes not get a shot then as they walk away. I've learned my lesson on that a couple times.

I read somewhere on here I think about using sponges. So last year I cut several small pieces of sponge, tied them to a clothes line hanger, run warm water over the sponge and then apply the evercalm to the sponge. Stash the sponges in a plastic bag. I would hang the sponges around my stand. I also apply to sponges I attach to my boots when walking in. Seems to help?

I rub it on my boots before walking in and rub some on my tree after I settle in. Then I'll twist about half of an inch of the stick out of the tube, leave the cap off, set it on the platform of my stand and let the wind do the work. I can't say that it "draws 'em in" but I do believe that it makes it much harder for them to wind you. I've been using it for 4 years and will not go in the woods without it. To me it's definitely worth $20.00 per year (yes I buy a fresh stick every year).

When others buy and use it. I don't believe cover scents are as effective as being truly clean.

Love the stuff, it works! I put it all over my boots, and when I get closer to my stand I like to rub it on branches , cornstalks, etc.. anywhere that deer may cross my path within shooting distance. I've still been busted, but it seems to also take the deer longer to bolt, more time = more chances of making a lethal shot.

I put it on my boots, and I put it on brush between me and my kill zone. I don't have any proof that either of those uses making a difference.

I put it on one of my trail cameras and had a doe on video trying to eat the camera. Only time I've gotten that so I think it did work in that case.

On numerous occasions I have had deer follow my exact path with their nose to the ground. I personally love the stuff and use it every time I'm in the woods.

Love this stuff, I actually live right down the road from their location in Davison Michigan. Use it on the soles of your boots when walking out, works great. !

yes it works, gonna buy a fresh stick this year.

I too believe in being scent free. But this stuff really does work guys. I don't know if it will fool a booner, but I've had does and yearlings mill around my stand for 30 min. I had a young forky bed down 30 yards from my stand and lay there for 45 min until he got up and walked toward my tree. he got about 5 feet from my tree and then a doe walked up. They both fed around my 15' ladder stand for awhile. My stands are in the middle of the hardwoods guys.
