I hung a stand today at a property not too far from home today. I say this about most new stands I put up, but this set is awesome. Perfect pinch point, food source and great cover in my stand. I can't wait to sit in it mid-October. I jumped up a nice buck while walking to check my camera. He looked like he was almost ready to shed velvet. The camera had three decent bucks on it which had me excited. Here is one.
That's nice... I'm about to head out to check pictures... Sent from my LG-H830 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Heading out Saturday morning to hang my new set and check cameras. Can't wait to see what the last month has done Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk
hey fellas, sorry for the delayed post. My name is Cody and I am 21 years old. I currently am a full time firefighter/ paramedic and I go to school at the university of Akron. I currently belong to a hunt club which is looking very promising as well as permission to two smaller farms. All three places are good for a doe or two with the definite potential for a big buck. Been shooting the bow quite a bit but I'm definitely getting the itch to sit in the woods!
Sup dudes. I'm Joe. Im in my 30s and i live in NY. I'm a musician and compose music TV/Ads/Film for a living. Hopefully I have a good season this year. Working on some material so its hard to know how much I'll get out into the field. I shoot Muzzy 3 blade trocar 100gr. They work!
Well got out to check cams, and the bucks we saw on the first check are still around. Hoping it stays that way. Here are some of the best ones.
Looks good Evilstuff! I just checked a camera today and have a brand new buck on it. Big wide 8 with kickers off the top of both G2's. I head back to college today so I will switch to scouting up there more. Primarily where I found my 162" matched set last year. If I see that buck this year I might need some new drawers. Went down to the Keys last week and we stayed at a place on Big Pine Key where the Key Deer are. Such a cool experience
I went out and had 326 photos on cameras... All doe with some fawn and a Fisher... I jumped a buck while walking in but he's not in any photos... No bucks are showing up on camera... Clearly they are there and I seen the same 8 I was hunting last year but no bucks on camera... I'm feeling frustrated... Sent from my LG-H830 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Give it some time. The bucks are still in their summer patterns. You will begin to see them more and more on your cameras soon if they are in the same spots you usually put the cameras during the fall
I'm seeing them when I walk in but no pictures... Ninja bucks... Sent from my LG-H830 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Here's a good little Vermont 8. Checked a camera today and this was nice to see. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Finally got two cameras hung today next to stands. Excited to see what they show! Taking the day off tomorrow to head up to Wrigley for a ball game with my dad which should be a good time!
Yeah so camera in my hotspot stopped working... Seen a few doe walking the trail leading to it though... I know of the 8 point there and a spike... Gonna bring a different camera out there... Dang thing turns on and shuts off after about a minute... Never had that problem before... Sent from my LG-H830 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Well I went out two days dove hunting over the long weekend and it was a complete bust. I had my GoPro to try and do some filming and I had nothing to film. The birds are no where to be found right now and all of us got skunked. I may try again later this week to see if any birds have moved in to the sunflower fields to feed.
Well any day in the woods is better than work...lol Sent from my LG-H830 using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
