    Hi all
Got my ladder stands set in Viginia over the weekend. Head to AZ Thursday for velvet mule deer. The VA micro food plots will be a little behind but not terribly. Hickory nuts on the ground. No fresh acorns yet. :deer:

Anyone care to discuss their broad head choice for this season? I've used Rage for awhile now with good success, I'll be giving the trypan a go this year. I like a lot of what I've seen about them.

Muzzy three blades. I used to shoot NAP killzones and they shot great. I just like the Muzzys for their dependability.

I used NAP mechanical and switched to rage when I had a complete passthrough and the blades didn't open... Never had a problem with rage... For the last two years I have been using swhacker and love em...

This is a little off topic but it's still the off season so what the hell. Just got my concealed carry permit, and am looking to get my first pistol. Something to carry as much as I can, where I can. Any one have suggestions?

I have a .357 mag Rossi and my personal favorite Beretta 92FS... I was issued an M9 Beretta in the military... I also like Colt's 1911... My dept carries Flocks which are nice too... I suggest you go shoot different models and calibers... You shoot what you're comfortable with...

I shoot the Rage Xtreme and have had great success. I like the idea of the Trypan but I can't justify switching

I've been shooting NAP Kill Zones, but plan to try their new Fixed Blade this year!
