Oh okay. So is asking for the GPS coordinates for your deer stand a little too specific? I am more in the central part of the state. You ever want to come up and hang out I am sure I could hook you up.

So here’s an update. The action is picking up here in New York. I saw 7 bucks this morning, including my #1, and 6 bucks this evening all dogging one doe, including a 120’s piebald 7 point. I will be out tomorrow until the heavy rain comes and Monday until I have to head back to school. It’s only a matter of time before the right buck makes the wrong move! Good luck to everyone during this awesome time of the year. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums

Guys. I️ just shot a giant about an hour ago. I️ initially though I️ gut shot him badly but the arrow looks good. I’m letting him lay the night. Unfortunately they call for rain. If I️ need to I’ll try to call someone with some dogs to come help. The pics and blood look great. But my initial thought was bad so I’m going to let him lay. I️f I️ saw that alone (without seeing the shot) I’d say “dead deer.” Im hoping the nick played tricks on me. And of course it happened too quick to get on video Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Yeah that’s my thinking as well. I️ know it seems odd but my first reaction was that I made a bad shot. I’m thinking he turned and it caught something good and bloody. Or the nock threw me off and the impact was better. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I’m In touch with a local guy with a blood trailing dog for tomorrow. What’s frustrating is I’ve shot 4 does and 2 pigs in October. All great shots. Then this buck at 17 and I️ Flub it up. Should have been a double lung and a 60 yard trail Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
It’s not dark like a liver shot, and no bubbles like a lung so you either slightly wounded him or hit something major. What was the blood trail like? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
