Had a group of hogs come in early this morning on me. Shot the 1st one at 7:10 and then shot another at 7:30. My first pigs with a bow.

I switched from my Rage Xtreme to Meat Seakers when the hogs came in (just trying to save the Xtremes). Meat Seaker broadhead did work on this pig. Poked through both sides

Other issues with hunting in the south besides pigs. Ran across this guy after throwing the guts of the pigs out.

Do people kill those snakes? Or is there a season for them?

Also I added another gopro to my bag today. Hoping to use my good Panasonic camera on the camera arm for the deer shot. Have my other go pro mounted above me for the shooter perspective and I'd like to use this one mounted to my bow facing me to give the Hunter view.

Do any of you mount a camera on your bow and if so how do you do it?

There’s no season here. It’s practically open season to my knowledge.

Some kill them some don’t. I usually kill a venomous snake if it’s in an area I frequent. Let this one go though

I feel like my whole season has been an October lull so far. I'm ready for the action to pick up

I don’t like running into these rattlers. But I’ll take their docile demeanor any day over the copperheads and cotton mouths we have. They’re so aggressive

Had a decent weekend. Had a good 6 walk in this morning, but punched the trigger and hit him right in the shoulder.

Will have the next 2 Fridays off, so heading out Thursday after work.

Just checked three cameras, looks like there was a pretty big jump this week in daylight or close to it activity. Cold front should hit me Wednesday. I’ll be hunting everyday from Wednesday to Monday. Should be great! And like Neal said, it is perfect timing.

Sadly no, tracked for about 300 yards, and lost blood. Hope to see him on camera later this week

Hi guys. Checking in here. I've only been out twice this year so far. Second time out had a doe posing 20 yards in front of ground blind on other side of field. We just purchased a new house and we are moving next weekend. Between that and getting our current house ready for market, hunting time has been rough to come by. Hopefully things calm down in November and I can get some meat later in season. Pulling for you guys!

It was a late night last night because of the temperature. I was able to skin her out, debone the quarters and get it into a cooler to rest with some ice since she couldn’t hang. I’m out this morning, before I have to take the two hour commute back to school.
