I have that one arrow. My group will be stacked and this one is always up and to the left of the others. I numbered it and the others and sure enough number 2 is always up and to the left. I have not ruled out the possibility it is me, but I have shot and shot and shot. My questions is, what would be issues with an arrow that would need to be checked? How do you remedy it? Could be that the spine of the arrow is weak as well.. Some times you get bad one out of the batch. I would check make sure you insert is all the way in or if you could take it out and reseat it (possibility of extra glue build up may be throwing it off). Of course check the fletchings that they are all to spec per the rest of them. Good luck!
I always start with spin testing. If it spins true, I try turning the nock. If I can't fix with that I will look to the fletching. If that doesn't work, I throw it in the garbage .
I used to have this issue when I shot GTs every now and then I'd get 1 in a 1/2 dozen order that obviously had spine issues or straightness even once. Switching to Black Eagle this year haven't, I truly believe them when they say they sort and the 6 you get in an order truly were matched up for weight and such.
Don't rule out the shaft could be built different/bad. Use that one for target or small critter practice.
Turn the nock 90 deg.. shoot. Then try 180 deg........ and so on. The first 90 deg turn will most likely fix it
I have that problem with my current batch of arrows. I did everything I could think of to get that fella to land with his buddies and nothing works. Now his fletch reads "yote!" It's only off by about 3 inches at 20 yards but that's enough for me to designate it for something other than shooting deer.
