When deer travel do they travel with the wind or into the wind?

    They do both...

If they only did one of the two...they would only be able to walk in one direction until the wind changes directions

It all depends on time of day, where they're going to/from, rut, etc.

Not a stupid question if someone has never been told. They can go both ways. They like to go into the wind, especially if they are alert or fearful. So they can smell what is in front of them.

^^^ agreed. During rifle around where I hunt the deer are so pressured they move almost exclusively into the wind.
