I am 14 years old and I love to hunt. I would like to start hunting whitetails with a bow, but I don't have one and I don't know which one would be good for me. I want to be able to use this for more than a couple years, so which one would be good for me? As for right now the price isn't a factor because I just want some ideas.

    Thanks

Congrats on wanting to hunt deer the right way!!!!! You will get hooked. When I started about 8 yrs ago, when i was 12, my parents bought me a jennings. it only went to 50 pounds and i outgrew it quickly. mathews ignition looks great and priced at 329 it isnt too bad. Bowtech has a few that can go down to 40 pounds!!! I love bowtech! but shoot a lot of different kinds and figure out what you can pull back and shoot well. It varies person to person. Good luck and keep at it. You will find the right bow.

As you are new to this I say go to www.huntersfriend.com and they have great packages that are put together. I got one and took it right out of the box and killed two deer with it. You would not be upset at all and they great people! Good luck and welcome to the HUNT!

when i first started bow hunting i got a hoyt ultra sport and i still have it and its just now getting to small for me so when i get my new bow i could sell you mine its fully equiped. any bow would work as long as the draw length and weight would fit you comfortably. a good bow to start with would be a bear they are very forgiving and always a low price you can get them anywhere just about. Youl will just have to do some research on them and see what you can get when the time comes. good luck buddy i hope you get one that will fit you for many years and get many a deer with it
