Anybody else having more of a problem than usual?

I have yellow jackets burrowing under a cedar panel on the front of my house and honeybees doing the some on the opposite side of the house.

One of my main hunting spots has a hollow tree that is filled with millions of honeybees as well. You can watch a cloud of them fly around an alfalfa field in the afternoon.

And i just got done shooting a weird *** kinda hornets nest off one of my ladder stands. Im not sure exactly what they were because they were bigger than usual.

Anybody else waging war with the stinging bastards this year?

Uh ya big time... I can't seem to keep the hornets off the eaves of the house. Knock down the nests and 2 days later I'm knockin down more. They wife got stung Monday, was super pleased. Then there is the hollow tree in my backyard which is FULL... 10's of thousands of honey bees... I have been attempting to trap them out of the tree for over a month. It is working but VERY SLOWLY.
I don't want to kill em

Why don't you leave the honey bees alone, they are great to have and in short supply.

If you must call a bee keeper and he will gladly catch and remove them.

Us too, we had a big wasp nest on the fence that we took out because we were afraid of my dog getting stung. My dad was dropping them out of mid air with the Raid, it was a pretty funny sight haha. Actually just this morning we were coming back from checking the camera and there was a big *** black wasp in my garage. It was the biggest wasp I have ever seen and my dad said the same. It was literally like 2 inches long, pretty scary- I would've hated to got stung by that thing.

We've had two massive nests at my house this year, one I believe was hornets and the other bees.

The only ones i killed were the hornets on my stand. The honey bees will be free to do what they want.

Hornets/yellow jackets/wasps are all fair game in my eyes!

Thats great, have you ever seen when they swarm, and half of them move to a new location?

No but the neighbor has. The hollow tree is next to an alfalfa/clover field that has been there since the pilgrim times.

My good friend is a bee keeper and has provided me the hive I am trapping them with. I have no intentions of harming them simply moving them to a different part of my property as currently the hive is about 5 ft from my childrens play set. I love the honey bees just not happy about the tree they choose

Probably an increase this year because of all the rain you had and more favorable weather than last year.

We have a lot of yellow jackets...no more or less than normal this year...I got stung in arm two days ago opening a gate I seldom go through. they built a nest inside a pipe within the H post...sneaky bastards!
