Love me some coffee. Got a cheap French press today to try it out.

Didnt put in as much coffee as I should have so it was diluted. Lol. Trial and error. Will double up tomorrow morning.

It take more grounds than a typical drip style coffee pot. But, done right tastes way better.

I learned how to make “cowboy” coffee and haven’t gone back to any other way since. All you do is put the coffe directly into the water. Bring to a rapid boil, I let mine go 8 min. Then I add a little cold water and it makes all the coffee grounds sink to the bottom. When you boil it, it helps to cook out most of the acid also. So no more acid reflux. Makes a boiling hot smooth cup and I have zero coffee grounds in my cup. All you need is the coffee pot and some good coffee of course.

Doubled the grounds this morning and the coffee was much better. I could probably triple.

What kind of grounds you using? Course ground seems to work best, less blow by the screen.

Went to 3 stores yesterday and couldn't find any course grounds. Unreal. So I used a blender on whole beans. Dont think I got them fine enough.

I’m following this one for sure. I love coffee and need to switch things up. Interested in French press.

I thought all grocery stores had the whole grinding set up in the coffee isle? Even the little town I live in has one.

Buy a coffee grinder. It will be less than $10 and work much better than a blender. Most can be measured to the exact amount you want to use.

I drink coffee while in the office or at a breakfast restaurant but seldom at home.

Folgers is about as sophisicated as I get, though I am sure , just as in beer, there are much better brews to be had.
