I had a nuclear stress test last Thursday.... it didn't go well. I had some severe breathing problems. They said the test was inconclusive and the wanted to do an angioplasty. That was scheduled for this past Tuesday. As part of the affair I had to have an echo cardiogram, some blood work and a Chest X-ray. I set those all up for last Friday. When I got home late Friday afternoon I had a call from my family doctor. He had gotten a copy of all the results. He and the cardio guy in a town 30 miles apart had been talking. He wanted me in his office immediately so he could listen to my lungs. Of course I went. Long story short... they wanted me in the hospital 30 miles away... immediately. So I spent several days getting IV's of antibiotics and other treatment. They did the angioplasty and put in another stent Tuesday. I got to come home this afternoon, 7 days later on oxygen. Supposedly I have some sort of multi named pneumonia.... MAYBE. Anyway, I'm a mess it seems. Can't do anything without sucking for air that won't come unless I'm on oxygen... and even then... it's a short lived reprieve. I can get maybe 50 yards with oxygen before I have to sit and gasp for air. Life sucks right now.
Dang Dave, try to let the docs do their stuff....we don't want to lose you before it's time !!! Siman...LOL, I'm 59, starting to get all sorts of stuff, the main thing is a bulging disc and a pinced nerve in the lower back....some days it hurts to just walk or sit !!!
