Starting to wonder if I have a bear issue in several locations I hunt on my property. I've had two cams ripped off trees so far, and yesterday had a bear at 10 yards. I'm seeing far less deer this year, which I attributed to the bad weather we saw in early October.

I checked a trailcam yesterday. I had pics of a decent 8 on a scrape, and four minutes later, a bear. An you later, bear.... Might have been same one, but you get the picture.

Bear season is gonna be interesting this year .....

I would get rid of a few of them. Sounds fun though. Good luck when season comes in

If we have the right temps for our season this year, it's going to be a banner year. Crops are booming (awesome year for corn) and the sign (and reports locally) are showing a high number of sightings. I have a lot of bear sign in the NW corner of my parent's property. I put a cam looking back where they're coming into the corn from (my Red 40 :D), so we'll see. They can be a big pain, imho.

Got my first bear on camera this year, which means first time buying a bear tag. :tu: A lot of my neighbors have been seeing them so we will see.

Good luck to all of you.

They're getting ridiculous here. I talked to my uncle who owns the ground and he took video out of his house window (he lives on property) of a big bear using a shrub in his yard to scratch it's nuts. The bush didn't fare to well in the ordeal.

They just seem to be everywhere this year.

A friend of mine told me that he saw a black boar walking down the road on the back side of Fort Huachuca the other day like he owned the road.

The wife had pictures of 5 differnt ones at her blind last week, One sow and cub, one about 180, another about 130 and a big bore that looks like it will go over 400. She was doing good till the Big Bore wanted to see what she had in her blind the other day LOL. WE had to move her blind to the other side of the ridge the next day.
We went to a point system here in Mich and the DNR is not issuing enough tags, the Bears are starting to become a problem in some areas.
