Nice beard btw. Reminds me of Grizzly Adams.
Anyone seen the movie The Revanant yet? Lots of beards (and a grizzly) in that movie, stellar movie too. The bear attack scene is freaking brutal! (so is most of that movie)

If its his shirt and he has same problem like me we were all a lot smaller when that stuff got issued to us ha. I was like 160 something out of boot and now I'm 230.

Haha, yeah but did your arms grow four and a half inches, lol. The scary thing is that shirt is prolly a 6x x-large as tall as that son of a gun is.

I'm not going to say I think any beard is ratty looking but some definitely fit my sense of style more than others as far as what I'd want to wear. I can't imagine ever going full on Duck Commander, Grizzly Adams amount of face hair. Grey doesn't "bother" me but I'd probably elect to color it if I was set on wearing a beard and it was grey.

What I like the looks of to wear is something fairly close cropped, well trimmed and cared for. Chris Evans had a nice version of what I'd like to grow. I don't think I'm audacious enough to grow out much more than that.

It's getting to where it doesn't itch now so I think I'm good. Should have the beard oil tomorrow I think.

Too damn cold to shave here my face would freeze, I just use the 1/2" jig on the clipper to keep it from getting itchy never made it more than a month.

I've had mine for quite a few years now. I'm not supposed to have a long beard in my line(IT) of work so when they gripe I cut it back a little bit and just go on. It truly makes it worth it when you're in a stand and the wind is blowing because I hate wearing a face mask, it feels like i'm being waterboarded. The itchy goes away and you can rub your hands through it like your thinking about world domination, even if you're just thinking about boobs or hunting. Lol

I'm curious how long mine will keep growing at this rate. I think this is the fifth day and I had to trim it again this morning at the corners of my mouth because the whiskers there were curling around inside my lips and pestering me. I figure it'll slow down here sooner or later...or not...I guess we'll see.

This is exactly the same reason I always give in and cut it off.

You get used to it. I give in and cut the moustache part but I just let the beard part grow.

Yeah, it's okay, I can deal with trimming here and there. I'm just surprised it's still growing as fast as it is. For some reason I imagined it would be a lot slower process.

That about the only part I ever trim most of time. Other day ended up trimming off little more than wanted but it grows back right? Ha. I went about 6 months when first started just to see what it would do, never could get used to the hair in my mouth so now I trim it every once in awhile.
