So THAT'S what you look like! Dang you're cute! Lol :D

The itching will stop real soon... When it gets long enough, you can make a beard meme

The one time I tried to grow a beard I ended up looking like joe dirt. It won't connect anywhere and comes in all red necky and splotchy.....

Haha, it's a funny thing, I always wished I didn't have the whiskers to deal with and I have heard lots of guys wish they could grow more. I always thought mine would grow out nice but I never liked the idea of having a beard.

Covey you youngster I was gray before I was 40. And yes I am not serious most of the time when I give people crap, unless they do something stupid then I mean it.

Shouldn't there be a party for that?

    Who uses grooming stuff?!?!? Ha

As far as products go I usually just stick with little oil and every once in a while I'll put in a beard balm just to hold it's shape little longer. Get my stuff from either bearded bastard or beard brand. Like the oils alot more from bearded bastard but they both have good grooming stuff.

This afternoon I ordered a variety pack of 4 different scents (people in the comments on Amazon called them "flavors") of the Grave Before Shave oils. I think they were Bay Rum, Pine, Original and Viking Blend. They seemed to have a stupid amount of top ratings and I've come to kind of rely on amazon's rating system more than I probably should, haha.

I love pine scent but the Bay Rum seemed to have people buzzed on there, it must be pretty good. *fingers crossed.

Yeah I think I'll enjoy it over winter and see what it does. Having never grown it out before makes it a little exciting just from a curiosity standpoint. I imagine it'll get mowed come late spring when the weather warms up though. Kinda wished I'd decided to start it a while back last fall. I don't know how many times I've had people tell me I should let it grow and I either disregarded it or started and gave in to the itchy mess of it and shaved. The itch was bad enough but the breakout I always got was embarrassing. It didn't seem to cause hardly any breakout this time so I got to thinking about seeing what happened and now I'm four days out and it's growing like crazy.

It started itching last evening enough that I had some vitamin E oil that I used on it and that seemed to help and it's better this evening.

ROFL, well I'll see. I figured it'd be too hot to deal with and not in a good way. I sweat like an ice cube as it is. My dad may shame me into shaving it anyway, he was never a big fan of beards for some reason. I know he tried to grow his out when he was a younger guy...maybe he couldn't and that's why he was always so negative about it, lol.

This is what I think of all the "beards" posted so far... Lol

I only drink micro brews, I don't wear baggy clothes, and I rock a beard... I also date a smoking hot girl and kill big animals with my bow. Being a "hipster" ain't so bad, a few of you should try it! Haha
