    Hi all,
I am new to bows and hunting and found a Fred bear Vapor 300 for $100.00. It did not come with any paper work on the bow. So I downloaded the manual from bears web site but can’t find my answer.
So I will give you a shot and maybe you can help.
I want to take the weight off the limbs because it is to hard to pull right now.
How many turns can I back off the limb bolts before it flies apart and smacks me in the head?
I have backed the bolts off 2 full turns so far, but would like to take so more weight off.

The bow did not come with anything on it so after reading this site for about a month. I bought a Truglo Carbon XS sight, It came with 4 pin (from the top down green, red, yellow and green sight pins ) and a free light for $40.00 at Academy Sports.
What I don’t like about the sight is when you turn the light on the tale end of the fiber somewhat over powers the sight pins. I think I can solve that problem with elect tape or black wire tubing. But for $40.00 I can live with it.
For the arrow rest I think I will go with Ripcord. It looks like a no brainier to setup.
    Thanks Dean
