    Put in for bear tags for myself and both of the kids. There is a small chance I will draw but my daughter should draw for sure.

    Bear hunts are fun and great times. Been to Canada bow hunt and Wisconsin and used dogs both I enjoyed and hope to have a chance with my son sometime can't beat it with a stick hunting with the kids

    We have a few hundred acres in northern michigan that seems like it has more bear than deer. 1 bait site we have had 13 bears hit it including a 600 pounder and a sow with 4 cubs. Im hoping this is my year to draw! Good luck to the both of you.

    Just read that the Florida legislature is talking tomorrow about a 10-yr ban. They cancelled last year's hunt also. :-/

    Update: So far just 2017-18 is closed while they re-visit the plans. Better than a ban I suppose.

    I had to put in zone 99 this year for preference points this year since I will down in the Panama Canal. Next year I should draw for sure though cant wait.
