How to cook bears? Hmm...pressure the QB to throw before he wants and jump the routes. Try asking DeAngelo Hall...I think he has a good recipe for this.

I may have read your question incorrectly.

I suppose I could actually contribute some substance to this thread...

I'm no bear expert, but I like to grill mine. Usually marinate the steaks and use my favorite seasons. I also believe it has to be cooked thoroughly, like pork. Can someone verify that?

Make sure to get it to 160 degrees on the inside, thats how you know it is safe (microbe-wise). Poultry needs to be cooked to 165, and beef, game, etc needs to get to 160 before it is considered "safe"

Tons of recipes out there. Just do a search online and you'll find some good ones.

I like to grill mine on medium heat and turn it every 5 minutes, basting it in garlic butter. Cooked about Medium....no more. If you overcook bear, it will taste like ****.

Personally, I believe bear meat to be the finest tasting out there. It blows venison out of the water.

Like Dan I think bear meat Is awesome!! It's my favorite wild game meat by far. Bear meat has to be fully cooked because of trichinosis In case they have the trichina worm.

Use recipes that you use for any other wild game. Works the same for the most part but Instead It's better. ;)
