i havent had the opportunity to shoot the PSE yet, but i do like the Bear Motive 6. i shoot 30" 70lbs and i prefer "speed bows". i am a huge realtree fan which is a perk of the Bear, but the evo line has been a crowd favorite and has proven its performance with the X-force limbs and the evo cam. The Bear has great specs and performs well i dislike the mushy backwall, but i can live with it. i am seriously torn between these two bows. Any help or comments appreciated.

Once you shoot the Evo you will forget about the other....lol. They got it right on those cams. Also, the new DNA SP is a sweet bow. It's a 345 IBO as well. It has the new Source cams with adjustable limbs stops...really nice.

i usually try to shoot bows around the 33" ATA mark, but with the huge cams on the Bear i could still anchor properly, so i figured i would look into the PSE as well. i just wish i could shoot one.

Yeah...the DNA SP is 31" ATA. Not sure what thew New PSE Full Throttle is on ATA. Its a 370 IBO...Does have a good draw cycle...just can't remember how long it is.

the full throttle is 33+ ATA. no body has one up here so i will be missing out. i was told the market will be too little to put one on the rack, because he still had three omens he couldnt sell. i was also looking into a hoyt carbon spyder turbo, but here is alaska they are going for $1400 and i have seen on another forum they are cracking at the stress points. some one posted a clip from the hotys manual saying cracks 1/8" or less are fine. for $1400 it had better be flawless.

The Full Throttle is nothing like the Omen IMO....the draw cycle is MUCH smoother on the Full Throttle. Just a better shooting bow overall to me.

thats what word on the street is everywhere, but this shop is old school and a mathews dealer first. he carries PSE and Bowtech to slow the competition i guess. the only other shop i have with in 8 hours is a hoyt, prime dealer. then i have a box store with Bear. everytime i look at a bowtech or PSE he pushes a mathews down my throat, i bought two from him and disliked them both just not for me. he nevers gives me time to shoot a PSE i did shoot an invasion there though. It sucks not having any options in pro shops.

I bet it does...Mathews is good bows. There just not for me. The only one I like that they have made is the Heli-m. I really like it for a single cam.

Hoyt is a great company with fine bows, but after the two i had they are not my style. i am more into speed, i love fast bows with my 30" draw.

Well i sure as heck wouldnt base an opinion off of that piece of information that someone posted on some other forum. Im sure you all are well aware of all of the BS floating around on "other forums". No offense... but ive got over 1000 shots on my CS34.... Its flat black any cracks would show up more than any other finish. the longer riser would have more flex than the 30"s... Guess what, spotless. Hoyt would not put out a bow that had structural issues. They wouldnt even do it on their $400 bows...

he has pictures and responses from hoyt. i am not one to get wrapped up in the bs. take a look in your owners manual, you should see where it tells you minimal cracking is ok. the guy from the original post has a blacked out carbon turbo and the crack is beneath the lower quiver mount for the riser. hoyt got him a new bow i believe, but for $1400 there should be no problems in my opinion. every company has a blooper now and then, this may be the only bow that this happens to.

i reread his post. hoyt had him send it in and gave him an ETA of 8 weeks and no loaner bow. some other guys posted they too had seen the new carbons cracking, but had no pictures or emails from hoyt. therefore its just smoke to me.
