I bought a bear "ready to hunt" package back in 2016 as my first bow. Its called the "threat" - an entry level bow that came with bottom of the line trophy ridge components. Im ready to upgrade to something more appropriate. One of the guys I hunt with also bought a bear ready to hunt package recently and has had multiple problems with it and someone spoke up that bear used to be great bows but they sold out and are made in China now. Does anyone know when this happened? Just wondering if I have a Chinese bear
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bear_Archery Bear Archery products are manufactured in Gainesville, Fl. Owned by Escalade Sports out of Indiana. Don’t know who the fella that spoke up was but according to the Wikipedia article they are still made in the US. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums

Wondering if some of their low end, entry level stuff is made overseas? You see that a lot with various stuff...
