    Bear Legion Review.....
Fit and Finish......10...Flawless, the coating feels thick.
Strings.....5...there cheap, will need to replace sooner than later, but for now it will shoot just fine
Grip...9-9.5....nice slim non torque grip. It will be a tad cold for the winter. I wish Bear would spend the extra and put the better wrap or the upgraded grip from the upper end bows on.....I will just put some tourney wrap on it.
E2 Cam..9.5..easy to adjust, even for a dope like me, had it adjusted in minutes
Draw....9...Smooth, easy, slight hump at the end. No creep at all, not a slight hint that it want to take off. Hold it forever. I would give the bear truth or the truth 2 cam a 10 and or the black ice cam system a close 10. I would say the eliptical cam is the easiest to pull out of them all
At the shot.....10....no doubt this is the quietest and smoothest bow i have ever shot. the only thing i have on this bow is a limbsaver 4.5 inch stabilizer, absolutely no shock and no kick, just dead still in my hand. A close comparison to the quietness and smoothness from a different brand would be the mathews switchback Xt. As far as comparing it to a Bear Truth....legion is a touch smoother and quieter...so close. As far as the Truth 2.....i would say that the legion might have a slight slight nod to almost equal... To a Diamond Black Ice....no doubt the bear is quieter, smoother and faster!!!! The split limbs, cam and dual string surpressors really make this bow quiet and reliable.
Speed. 10.....it's fast. It's for sure at or slightly above it's IBO listing. It's noticeably fast, it doesn't seem like it will with it's smooth drawing nature. But it will send them down range with some velocity. I can't imagine how much better this could shoot with a set of custom set of strings....Jeez!

In a Nut Shell.....For a $399 dollar bow...............I have to think it's the best value out there. For that little invested, you can't beat the quietness, reliability, speed, & smoothness. It shoots as well as some of the bows twice the amount of money.
From what i'm seeing you can pick them up for $350 ish all over if your willing to put in a little time to look.
i don't shoot for any shop or let alone Bear Archery. If this was a POS, i would tell you all, but this is a no brainer.

Thanks for reading.....feel free to leave a comment if you've tried this bow or have one. BEAR TRUTH - BEAR LEGION

Totally agree. Its an amazing shooter for the price. I absolutely love mine. Shot plenty while shopping around and came back to the Bear Legion. IMO the best bow for the such a low price point. I even shot a few of the $800-$900 bows and still preferred the Legion. Mine fits me perfectly. Good review! :)

Agree about the strings also. I plan on putting a new set on during the summer.

25yrs ago when I bought my whitetail 2 they went by Bear/Jennings. Who owns bear now?

Not a bad review but I'll have to take exception to your claim its hitting the ibo rating. 1, unless you chrono it, you have no way to know that. And unless yours shooting at 30" 70# and using a total arrow weight of just 350 gn there's no way you're actually hitting the ibo. It's unrealistic in real world application.

Glad you're happy with it tho. Congrats on the new rig, when can we see pictures?

i think bear are one of the most overlooked and under rated bows made right now. they are awesome and the past few years they have really stepped it up. and the new motives are insane. i do not like a single cam bow, but the new motive is an absolute barn burner with some serious horse power...fast, quiet, accurate...great bows! i think they will be one of the more popular bows out there once word starts to get out and more people shoot the bows of the past few years from them.

I just bought a bear legion and I am very satisfied with it. I can't wait to hunt with it this thing is super quiet and it seems a lot faster than the IBO but may be do to how smooth it is. Overall Great shooter for the money

I love my Legion. I wouldnt ask anything more out of my second bow ever and my first was a PSE Nova. great times with this bow so far. From shooting animals, to my 70yd pin at the 3D range. I cant ask for anything more for 400$ or 500$ for the RTH packedge. But get rid of the RTH stuff and she is that much better. BEAR LEGION dont knock it till you try her for Half most bows cost. Nice review man
