Here's some pics of a bear killing a buck in Shenandoah National Park. As I understand the buck was hit by a car and the bear came down off the embankment and finished the job. But if one wanted to embelish the story by adding one more picture. You could say, here's how bears hunt these days they use treestands. That little bear looks like he good use a good meal. That was a nice buck too. You usually don't see bucks that size getting smacked by cars until late October/early November. They're usually smarter than that.
Cool pictures, it's a shame it happened to a nice buck though. At least the photographer had the intelligence to let the bear do his thing, as opposed to feeling sorry for the buck and trying to save it.
