Yeah I did, and I would still would not post up that blog. I really don't think it is cut and dry about what is considered harassment.
Let it go Mother Theresa's wannabees........ The bear is gonna wake up in a couple of months and tell his buddies: Man, you'll never believe me, I had the weirdest dream this winter... I had this dude stick his head in my room just to have a look at me, then a bunch of idiots crucified him for taking my picture... Then all his bear buddies are going to laugh at him and tell him to go easy on mushrooms next fall... Taking pictures of a sleeping bear is NOT harassment, but lots of the replies to this post ARE... (
I guess one could argue everytime we walk out in the woods we are harassing some type of wildlife as we are intruding their habitat whether that be a rabbit, deer or a field mouse that goes scurrying off due to our unwelcomed and unwarranted intrusion into their home. Get over yourself people. He came across a bear den and became inquisitive. Good for him. Right or wrong, I would have done something similar. Being a photographer, I am behind you.....way behind you since it's a bear, but behind you just the same....and look forward to additional pics.
