    Hello all.

Well, I got my first bow and are book for my first hunt, deer.
But, bear, I like to hunt bear one day to.
I have a 60 pound bow now, good for deer but what about bear?
Yes, I know it also come down to range and where the arrow is placed. But, will the bow give the power needed?
So, broad heads. I am going to using a 2 blade 110 gr, the combination gives me gropes I am very happy with.
But, is a 2 blade good, giving deeper penetration than a 3/4 blade, but less blood trail?

Uhmm, many questions.......Hope some can help me.

    Have a good day all.

60# is adequate for black bear, if you're talking brown I'd turn your poundage up. 2 blade broadheads will work fine, I would recommend using fixed blades though.

    Thanks.
It is black bear I am thinking of. Oh yes, fixed heads is what I use.

40lbs will get the job done on a bear. Your plenty good to go.

plenty of poundage for blackies, also probably no problem pushing a 3-4 blade head.
