I am thinking of purchasing the new 2012 Bear Encounter bow and was wondering if anyone has already purchased one and what you think if the bow. If you have let me know so that I can have a honest review of hte bow. Thanks and good hunting.

This is a Great time to get a new bow! Gander Mountain, D-ick's, and Bass Pro is having their season ending sale with 20-30% off on their preexisting bows. Get out there and get a good deal.

A Shop in Riner VA Whitetail Outfitter usually sales about 150 used bows they said this past season they only sold about 25. No one is buying used bows only new bows. And if the you have a bow for sale and if it doesn't have a 70lb IBO. Chances are it won't be sold.

Are there deals to be had on used bows....yes...They have a Black PSE EXForce and a Matthews Z7 for $600-700 Dollars used. And no one has attempted to buy them, because of being used.

Sure this doesn't help you with the Bear Encounter bow, but there are options in these tight economic times make the best of your money. Get a deal early and make sure it's one that will make you happy in the long run.

    Good luck.
