I currently have a bear whitetail 2 bow and i have been wanting to get a new bow i am looking at the bear charge bow because it is lower priced and is a quality bow i was wondering if any one had shot this bow and if they have could you post some of the good and bad things about this bow Thanks, deerhunterJLW
I bought one this year, and like it alot. Not the fastest but a good shooter. I say go for it you won't be disappointed.
I shot one and really liked it. Don't really care for a split limb bow though. I have had problems with them before I ended up buying a used bowtech and am really happy with it. Don't forget about a good used bow because you could get a really good deal.
If you are looking at this bow due to the $400 price range and because you already own a Bear brand bow, you may want to check out others in that price range. I am going to assume you haven't been to a Pro Shop. Go to one. One that carries a lot of different bows. I'm not talking about one of the big box sporting goods stores either. Check out The Mission line by Mathews. Great bows with a bunch of the same features just much lower price. Hoyt has the ProHawk. I was shooting my brothers today to tune it and it is a sweet shooting bow. Most importantly, shoot as many as you can in the price range you can afford. Let the bow pic you. And to answer your questiodirectlyly, I have heard nothing bad about it.
low cost bows I have a martin, great bow. I tested a lof in the price range and got the package ready to hunt for $450 I have killed 2 bucks with it. Fast and accurate.
thanks for the help i had been looking at bows in the 400 to 500 dollar price range and had shot a diamond razor edge that my friend has and my cousin has a hoyt but i didnt like te way that the diamond shot and the hoyt bows are just way out of my price range my uncle has the bear lights out and he let me shoot it and i loved the smooth draw and low vibration so is there any other suggestions for bows in that price range? Also can you guys tell me if the wisker biscuit iis better than a NAP 360
My brother in law bought a charge earlier this year which got me thinking I might want to take up the sport again so I bought the bear strike, mainly so I could say mine was new and shoots a bit faster, but it wasn't until after I shot the charge that I decided to look at the bear line of bows. I have nothing bad to say about them. The price range was the biggest draw. I have been able to shoot a couple of squirrels in my backyard with it, and I shoot consistent groups, so really the only errors I have encountered are operator errors.
I don't think you'll be the least bit disappointed in the Bear Charge! It's a fantastic bow and shoots well. I ended up going for the Bear Encounter and my wife got the Home Wrecker. We love the Bear line and haven't been disappointed at all. My Encounter shoots groups comparable to that of other bows. No, they don't shoot as fast as the Hoyt or Mathews line, but they still do a fantastic job nonetheless. Nowadays all the modern bows can do about the same thing anymore. They all shoot extremely well and perform better than most shooters ever will! The only thing that bows seem to do nowadays is look good. They all do well, it's just what one looks the prettiest when doing their job! You won't be dissatisfied with any bows from the Bear line! They're affordable and they do fantastic!!
