Hi everyone, hope you had a good hunting season and a Happy New Year. I am looking for some input on the Bear Carnage. I am looking to upgrade my bow and like what I have read about this bow. Any input good or bad is appreciated. Thanks

I have it. Shot it a lot over the summer. Feels great and shoots straight. Highly recommend this bow to anyone.

Looked at the Fred Bear series of Bows, before settling on the Mission line of bows. I was very disappointed. The Quest line of bows have proven to be head to toes for me.....

Far as the Bear Line of bows you should check out ****'s, Gander Mountain, and Bass pro quickly. Just today mistake or not The ****'s in my area had a Carnage on sale for $699 (must have been a mistake). As **** usually have their bows and other hunting related material on Clearance this would be one of the ideal times to get a new bow.

Take this into account...1) Get what you want. 2) Research the bow reviews. 3) consider price Just because it's expensive doesn't mean it's great. 4) Is the dealer reputable? Or does he try to sale volume over quality? 5 Get's what's right for you and

I'm curious.....what were you very disappointed about regarding Bear compound bows? I haven't seen a bad review anywhere when it comes to the Carnage. Of the many bows I have shot in the past year or so, the Carnage ranks right up there, IMO. I have shot the new Anarchy too, and it's a dandy.

The carnage is a great bow. Smooth and forgiving with a sleek look. The ONLY downfall I see in it is as with most Bear's is that their IBO's seem to be a little high. I have only been able to get a bear shooting true IBO a few times and it took a little bit to get it there. On a normal basis it seems their IBO ratings are about 5-10 FPS fast. Other than that I really like and enjoy the upper line of Bear bows.

Thanks for the input. I have done quite a bit of research and have not heard anything bad about the carnage. The problem I am having is I am left handed and none of the shops around have any on stock, so that makes it hard to try one out. There are several good deals on the internet, but I don't feel comfortable with that. I would still end going to a local shop for any adjustments that might need to be made, and they would charge for them. Oh well I have time so I just need to keep my eyes open and see what comes up. Thanks again

I just shot on the range with a guy that has one with the Hitman sight and NAP drop away and he loves it. It was quiet and fast. And we shot out to 60 yards and he did really well with it. If it feels good to you, then I say go for it.

Well I did some shooting today and made a decision. I shot the new bow tech invasion, the Hoyt rampage xt, the bear anarchy, and the Mathews z7 extreme. hands down it was the Mathews z7. They gave me such a good deal i couldn't turn it down. It is a sweet shooting bow. now i just need to spend some time at the range and get to like it even more. thanks for the input.
