Does anyone own/have shot any Bear bows? I'm really interested in these bows for my next bow because my bow's limbs recently cracked. The bow was 5 years old and had a 5-6 inch brace height so i couldn't shoot it real well. But anyways, I'd really like to get some feedback on these Bear bows. - THANK YOU!!

They are good bows at a resonable price. I suggest you find yourself a pro shop that has them and shoot one to see if it is comfortable for you.

i liked the way they shot, bang for the buck they are among he tops out there... some other nice bang for the buck bows are the Ross and Quest bows (particularly the Ross Cardiac and Quest QS 31/34's - all under 500 for the bare bow)... I haven't shot one, but, been hearing some great things about the new PSE BowMadness bows... of course a pro shop is going to be your best bet for service but it wouldn't hurt to slide by a bass pro/gander/cabelas to shorten your driving, you can try many of these in one stop then find a local pro to get ya set up... fwiw - imho, most pro-shops cut roughly the same deals anyway, so why not shop there?? the MAP pricing keeps the big boxes from undercutting to much...

I recommend them! I just upgraded to an '08 Lights Out. Everything about it is smooth. I haven't shot many bows, but I probably won't need to after getting this one. Quiet, light, powerful.

I have a Bear Lights Out and I love it. I suggest "string leech" string silencers on that bow's factory string, they make the bow extremely quiet. Good luck in your search, have fun

I've been mostly looking at the Element because I saw it at ****s Sporting Goods for $189.99. That is an insane price for a bow of its quality. But after looking for spec and what not on the web I really couldn't find much. What year was it made? - Thanks a lot!

I have the ’07 Truth. I got mine on e-bay, new for $300.27 with shipping included. This is my third Bear and by far the best. There is not as much snob appeal (didn’t drop $750) but funny thing…I seem to be able to hit as well or better than everyone else.

The addition of the Spot Hogg, B-Stinger stabilizer and the Hogg It seven pin .010 wrapped sights along with the Spot Hogg Whammy rest has only helped.

Oh, buy the best shafts you can afford. Resist the temptation to “cheap out”.

I have a Bear Code and a Bear TRX..I shoot them both and I dont know if I'll ever go to any other brand as these bow haven't given me a reason to stray. I would recomend the Bear Bows to anyone looking for a Very Reasonable price on an Exceptional bow.

I had the TRX as well for 4 years, it was my first bow. Killed 3 deer with that before upgrading to an Elite, but would recommend these bear bows to anyone!

I bought a Fred Bear Lights Out package last week. I replaced the Whisker Biscuit with a NAP Freedom fall away rest and changed arrows to the Easton Powerflight 400 series arrows and added string silencers after I got it.
It is the quietest compound bow I have owned in 35 years. I love mine!
