I wanted to see what other Bear Archery owners thought about their bear brand bows. I like how it feels in my hand and the draw cycle. Smooth and shoots well. I shot several other brands, but the bear bows just felt the best to me.

I own a 2007 Instinct which has very very little vibration and doesn't make hardly a whisper. I'm still very happy with my puchase which I made almost 3 years ago. The new line of bows looks better than ever. Bear Archery has been making bows for alotta years so maybe ya got a vintage bear bow.

Here's your chance to show off your bear bow, brand spankin' new or classic. It makes no difference. Share your story, comments, and pictures.

Here's my bow. The before mentioned. My specific's are in my signature line.

the second bow that i had owned was a fred bear realtree extreme had some pretty good luck with it. then i moved on to the truth .this bow was out shooting every bow on the market and was at half the price. this thing is smooth and quiet. never had a problem with it. its to bad that with the success of the truth they jacked there prices up :( but still really love this bow its taken down many of dear and turkey.

Here's a classic. My 1960 62" Bear Grizzly recurve,45#@28". I love this bow and plan on hunting with her this year. I also have a 1956 Bear Polar semi-recurve and a 1968 Bear Super48 Magnum

That little guy is precious! Jim, you're a lucky man.

I started with a Bear Kodiak recurve way back in the 70's, but I gave it away. Then I went "high tech" with a Bear Polar LTD compound when they became legal here in Pa. Gave that one away to a beginner as well.

Good question. I can only speak for myself, but here's a few reasons why I'm proud to shoot a Bear Archery bow.

Maybe, it's the sense of pride that I remember for having to work really hard to purchase the bow. Putting in the extra long hours, staying late, arriving early. Just about ready to go down to the pro-shop and pick 'er up. Damn water heater takes a dump. Small set back, "good things come to those that wait"? Why don't I think so at this moment.

This company has been making quality, dependable, archery products for 77 years now right here in the United States - Under the leadership of one of archery's founding fathers. Fred Bear.

Although many don't consider Bear to be "top-of-the-line" quality, they let a price tag on the bow determine it's quality. However, once you pick up a Bear bow and look it over real good then place it in your hand, draw it back and release an arrow you sense it's every bit a quality bow. It's just not considered quality because it's price tag doesn't reflect that.

I'm proud to shoot a Bear Archery bow.

My dad bought me a Bear Whitetail Master II in 1998 I believe. I shot my first 3-4 deer with that bow. If I were to return to shooting a compound bow, I would purchase a Bear bow again.

    Well said IB.

Last year, I decided to get back into bowhunting following a 12 year seperation due to school, work, and life. I have been hunting shotgun season with my family since I was a boy but it's just not the same. I've always felt a passion for archery and bowhunting. Life is too short not to pursue the things you're passionate about. I did my research and went to a local proshop to see which bow felt right. I decided to get a 2009 Bear Truth 2 and I'm very pleased with it. I've pushed myself to re-learn just about everything. I build my own arrows, set up and tune my own bow, and I couldn't be happier. My Bear served me well last season with three deer taken on public land. I've put a QAD Ultra-Rest Pro on my Bear this year and I'm shooting even better than last year. I ,with my Bear bow, am looking forward to a great season this year.

I may look into buying a second bow later this year and there is a good chance it will be another Bear.

I will put up a picture of my Bear asap.
