I have a choice between hunting a bean field or a clover field during the last few weeks of late bow season in mid MO.
(which is something I've never had the opportunity of doing before.)
which should I spend my time in? and at what time of day and under what weather conditions?
    thanks.

The field the deer are using the most....duh.

How was everyone's season down in your area?

I wont be able to scout the two areas prior, so I wont know which field the deer are using. and season heated in mid October and completely shut off around Nov. 10th in my area. gun season was a bust.

Are you in Cedar county? I used to know of someone by the same name in the area. Season was about the same up in my area.

Hard to argue against beans in the evening. Welcome to the forum BTW.

Thanks for the welcome. Thought I should go ahead and make one since im on here constantly. And yes, my primary bow hunting land is about 60 acres of cedar bedding ground, surrounded by hard woods, mostly oak, hickory and maple. good land for early season up to the rut, bad for late season.
