Some months not at all, others four or five times. If I am out, hungry and won't be home for a while I will stop and eat. I do try to avoid it though. When I was younger I ate it all the time. When you are young always on the move and short on cash it's low cost and convenience is hard to beat. If you included Chipotle in your fast food definition, my answer would be different though
Agreed, that the convenience and relative cheapness is very difficult to beat. I probably hit a fast food joint once every couple weeks, and when travelling. I hit Subway pretty regular when working because it's right across the road from the hospital, and I can get 2 meals for $5 if I eat half the sub for dinner and the other half for my late night meal when working 12hr nights.... I think fast food has it's place for convenience and "cheapness" especially when on the go... Nothing wrong with hitting a FF place once in a while.... From reading some of this thread, I'm beginning to wonder if there are a bunch of venison and tofu with bean sprouts and brocolli eaters here.... :D Wendy's has a pretty good Snack wrap with lettuce, chicken, a little ranch or something salad dressing and what looks like fresh grated parmesan that is only $1... That's hard to beat... a McChicken from McDonald's isn't GREAT for you, but a McChicken or 2 every couple weeks ain't gonna kill you either, and I think they are pretty decent, again, especially for $1. Now I'm not leaving the house to drive into town to get a FF meal, but when on the go, between work, getting kids to ball practice, off to an appointment, etc, the occasional FF meal suffices for what we need, yet when at home, it's burgers on the grill, chicken brats, chicken on the grill, with veggies foil packs loaded with Zuchinin/peppers/green beans and a couple tablespoons of butter in there some cracked pepper, a little salt, and a few tablespoons of water to steam everything.....
I do probably...1 or 2 times a week, depending on whats going on. I have gotten ti where I really dont want it. Mainly I would Arbys, zaxbys, or the occasional taco bell. Wish we had a chipotle.
That's my main issue. After I eat it I feel like ****. Several people have said that it's a response to feeling guilty for eating the crap however I don't buy it. I generally eat anything I want in moderation....even things I know I unhealthy and I feel fine after. The common denominator with me and fast food is how I feel afterward...and for the most it isn't good.
I only eat fast food when that is what is served for dinner, so probably once every month and no soda. Been limiting myself to one a week and even then I skip a week here and there.
