Yes, and I've killed a few deer from the sitting position. If you have a comfortable draw weight it shouldn't be a problem.

Yes. Indian style at that! In fact, I prefer to shoot out of a stand sitting down, when I get the fever, I feel more stable. My legs shake less which means my upper body is more stable.

Yup. I practice this way every now and then to mix it up. i won't be shooting this way from my treestand, though, as my API climbing stand will not allow it. Thought about getting a lock on so I wouldn't need to be standing for the shot, but I like having multiple trees to hunt from but only needing one stand. I guess I'm a cheapo. Still might try to find some good deals on a lock on or two in the off season, though...

I used to practice seated with my feet off the ground was challenging at times.

Maxed out at 70+ and it wouldn't be if I couldn't draw it easily sitting or standing.

Can you let down slower than you draw? To me, that says more than drawing while seated.

Correct... this is. On your bum....legs flat to ground... feet in front. From a chair/stool, there's not much difference in the strength required as opposed to standing.

Swinging your hips while seated??? maybe turn your bow down a pound or two. You should be able to draw smoothly without all the extra movement. I shoot comfortably from a seated position. 3 of the 5 I shot last year were from seated position. It's good to be able to adjust when they 'sneak in' on ya :D

Yes. I can. I'm a big fan of hunting from ground blinds so it's a given that I have to be able to draw back while seated.

I practice every shot I can think of, seated is the easiest by far!
