I walked outside yesterday and before I could walk around the house I could hear my children cheering for our 10 year daughter so I walked around and found my daughter 12ft in the air on our electric pole using my climber that I attached to the pole a few days earlier to replace a strap and to check if everything was still working. I obviously trained my daughter how to use it without knowing as she stood in amazment a few days earlier.
Now this was scary enough but then one of the girls began bragging about how high their big sister had gone and that she almost made it to the top daddy!! Holy Sh#@!!!!! I about freaked out but still managed not to show it and tried to keep my calm. I explained how dangerous it was and next time she wanted to use one she had better let me show her how to use a harness (which her daddy forgot to use when she was watching) and not a electric pole. So anytime you guys show off for your children just be more responsible than I was. This could have gone so wrong. On a lighter note though I am proud of my future little hunter she isnt scared of anything.

Yea I know Im a Dumb A!# I personally had only gone up and down about six feet trying to diagnose a squeak in the bottom level but I guess she thought I was just playing. I should have removed it when I was done but I planned to replace the ratchet straps and never got back to taking it off. I am an idiot.
