What happened to the BHOD app? I got a new phone and when went to the app and it through up an app not in the App Store message ??. Went to re- download the app and it’s not in the Apple Store anymore, what’s up with that?

We got rid of it - you can watch everything on YouTube so there really wasn't any point in having the app.

I thought the app provided better, uncensored video due to YouTube de-monetizing hunting videos that showed blood and "gore".

Negative. If YT ever fully kicks us off or demonitizes us we have other ways to distribute our content. But for the few people who were actually using the app it wasn't worth the lift to keep it up to date and working.

not app related but..... when trying to access the forum this weekend from my cell phone, the bowhunting.com site wouldn't load (just checked still doesn't) and the dropdown list (3 lines) selector doesn't work.
Site freezes then have to reload then to get to forum (on cell phone) have to scroll down to the hyperlink at bottom of page.

    Very annoying

What kind of phone are you on? We had an issue with the navigation last week but fixed it and it's working for me now.

Understood. I would avoid YouTube videos and go straight to your app based on that misconception. Thanks for the clarification.

Piggy backing on this, but specific to the mobile forums app. I've always had issues uploading photos using the app. I have to use the web-browser from my phone and jump into the website directly to upload any photos. I also found there were issues with the contest scorecard updating. What was shown on the app versus what was on the web-based forums were days, perhaps, weeks of difference in totals. I had egg on my face last year thinking we were in first place early in the season.

It's no secret that all tech people hate technology. It's always breaking and never works the way it's supposed to.

I think we're good for now - give it another try.

Our company needs more of you. Process? Eh, just wing it and sell clothes. Improvement? Why? We've always done it this way!

    Ugh

I'm in.... have said this before but I was laid off in a role elimination / staff reduction in July and took what I could get quickly.
Quickly doesn't always equate to best...

Been there. I'm not sure what we are hiring now, but it's Tailored Brands, own Men's Warehouse and others. I know we are in the middle of a re organization so who knows what positions aw thee. Good company to work for. They are headquartered in Houston. I'm fully remote.
