Thanks for the responses guys. Yeah, I had seen this buck a few times from a distance thru binos, but always right at dark. I knew he was tall and a probally a 3 1/2yo but couldn't see enough detail to realize how weak he was in the G3's. And once I saw him Saturday night, I,like a lot of you, never look at the horns again once I make the decision to shoot if presented a shot. Not that it would have changed my mind anyway. He is a very unique buck.....and not that I am complaining, but it would have been even neater had he only been a six instead of an eight. I saved the "true" deer in the headlight picture. This is what I looked like when I realized I forgot to include my bow in the picture just as the timer was going off.
