Anyone see Brittney Griner of Baylor throw this haymaker last night?

I would personally sit her out for the year, there's absolutely no place for this in collegiate sports. She and Legararrette (sp?) Blount should have dinner sometime :)

She hit her with the inside of her wrist/forearm. The girl needs to learn how to throw a punch!

I agree, no place for it basketball. I also believe in second chances. Figure out an appropriate punishment and then decide if is she deserves to rejoin the team.

The worst part of all? She only got a 2 game suspension! In college basketball that amounts to half a week.

LaGarret Blount punches someone and he gets, what, 10 games? Which is, with a bye week, 11 weeks.

I heard on sportscenter that it said the Big 12/Baylor was going to take into account that she'd been facing physical play all year. Psh. What a joke

She should have been suspended the rest of the season. Her second chance should have come in the form of being able to play again, next year.
