    VERY unique breed...GREAT for tracking...I realize this is a bow hunting forum, some of you may hunt where tracking blood is essential. We have a nice litter on the ground now.

    6 males, 4 females whelped 7-30-2012

    Both Doc and Autumn are proven blood tracking dogs with many successful tracks to their credit. They love to track blood and they stay very focused on their task. Doc has had 14 successful tracks on whitetails. Autumn has had successful tracks on Whitetail, Fallow, and Sika deer as well as wild hogs. Bavarian Mountain Hounds make great family pets and posses awesome personalities with great dispositions. If you ever thought about having a tracking dog, don't miss out on this breeding!

    Recent Track...

    Autumn (dam of litter) recent track...deer was hit high, got top of one lung and just a little bit of liver. Shot with a 37# bow. Track was 9 hours old. Deer went 250 yards with a little blood, then stopped and took a 90 degree turn and went another 100 yards with no visible blood. Would have looked a long time without the use of the dog. The deer weighed 190# and has a 20” inside spread.
