After completing a thorough evaluation of multiple BMHs to utilize as the stud dog for this upcoming litter, we have decided that “Vars” would be the best compliment to our Autumn for this mating. “Vars” (pictured above) was imported from Poland during the summer of 2003. His owner bought him in December of that year. He immediately started the training process with the guidance of tracking guru Lars Haugaard, Vars has developed into a very well known tracking dog here in the United States. In his native Denmark, Mr. Haugaard has a long record with BMH’s and he personally handles upwards of 200 tracking calls per year. Vars has mainly worked in Illinois tracking for Golden Triangle Whitetails and Central Illinois Outfitters.
