I have made the decision to open up the sign up period allowed in the Battle of the States for 2014 to instead of being by July 2013 to include those who joined in August and September of 2013. This will allow people who joined last year for the regular bh.com contest in which obviously stuck around hence their presence on the board now. THERE WILL BE ABSOLUTELY NO FURTHER STRETCH OF TIME FRAME OR SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES CONSIDERED...just a friendly fyi SO DON'T ASK! :D This change will allow slightly higher numbers and hopefully build up a couple more states and cause less regional teams to be needed...while protecting us against any newbie issues or people joining and then going MIA for their teams. The rules of competition are broken down HERE....and the official sign up thread is HERE.... BUT DON'T BOTHER SIGNING UP UNLESS YOUR JOIN DATE WAS SEPTEMBER 2013 OR EARLIER...Next year is your time to join in the fun! Again this is the only change to allowing those joining the competition to occur this year. If you don't qualify please feel free to stop in and back your team, talk smack to opposing teams and join in the "for fun" competition.
