Duracell or Energizer Alkaline AA. A few cameras we use Energizer Lithium.

This doesn't sound like a battery problem, but a camera problem. What kind of camera is it?

I use only AA Energizer Ultimate Lithium batteries in my cameras. I have a Scoutguard SG580-M that texts me pictures and the batteries have been in there for over 1 whole year straight. And still shows good life.

I've used Alkaline's, Energizer Lithiums, and now Tenergy Rechargables.

Alkalines are ok, but do have to be replaced fairly regularly.

The Lithiums are amazing, will last a long time and take tons of pictures, they also don't loose charge nearly as fast in cold weather. But they are very expensive, and the cost add up quickly even though you can get thousands of pictures per set.

I can't give a full review of rechargable as I just swapped over, but so far so good. A fairly high initial investment, but not having to buy batteries throughout the season should save quite a bit in the long run for me. I just switch out batteries when I swap the cards. Last pull I had over 1200 pics, and still plenty of charge left.

I am now using all rechargeables and I get plenty of life even though the majority of my cams are white-flash. I think your camera may have a problem. What kind of camera do you have?

I've owned several Bushnell Trophy cams over the years and always got at least 5-6 months out of a set of standard Alkaline batteries. Something is definitely not right with your camera.
